(Watch) Mohammad Rizwan sledges Harry Brook with Aaqib Ball’s remark in the third Test in Rawalpindi

Mohammad Rizwan has a habit of sledging the rival batters from behind the stumps. In the ongoing third Test between Pakistan and England in Rawalpindi, he mocked star batter Harry Brook.

He also batted well for the hosts in the first innings and is now contributing with the gloves and mouth.

Rizwan was heard saying something to English batters as they failed to get going on the turning track. The Bazball approach has taken a back seat, with the England players opting for a defensive display.

Rizwan has made Harry Brook his target. After verbal volleys in the first innings, the veteran repeated the same act in the second essay as well. “This is Aaqib Ball,’ he said to the rival number to disturb his concentration. Harry was unable to pick the spinners, giving Pakistan’s gloveman a chance to have a go at him.

Aaqib Javed, one of the selectors of the men’s team, had urged the PCB to prepare dry pitches and include three spinners in the Playing XI. The decision-makers understood Aaqib’s theory, and now Pakistan have the upper hand against the Ben Stoked-led team.

Mohammad Rizwan scored a vital 25 runs in the first innings, and he hopes to continue sledging the opponents. Pakistan are on the verge of winning the series.

Sajid Khan, who took 6 wickets in the first innings, scored 48 runs with the bat.

He took one wicket in the second innings. Joe Root and Harry Brook were at the crease at stumps on Day 2 of the contest.

Sajid Khan was injured during the game and was seen bleeding. “I have two stitches on the cut near the jaw. I am playing for Pakistan, and these things don’t matter. My team needs me,” he said.

“If we can get Root early tomorrow, our position will become strong.”
