The second Test between Pakistan and Bangladesh in Rawalpindi saw a funny incident when Abrar Ahmed ran to reach the crease to avoid getting timed out. Shakib Al Hasan was seen smiling after seeing the batter.
Abrar was the number 10 for the hosts and replaced Mohammad Ali, who was dismissed. Abrar wanted to avoid an embarrassing situation and decided to run on the field.
One of the batting gloves of Abrar fell on the ground, and the player had to go back to collect it before reaching the 22-yard track.

Shakib had timed out Sri Lanka all-rounder Angelo Matthews during the 2023 ODI World Cup match in Delhi. He was the first cricketer to get timed out in international cricket.
If a batter exceeds the allotted time limit of three minutes to take a strike, he or she can be declared timed out if the rival captain appeals to the on-field umpires.
