This year’s Holiday Homes of the Year recognises some of the most gorgeous properties with beach views as well as stunning cottage escapes, modern city stays as well as historical houses.

This year’s destinations which made the list include Bath, Edinburgh, Dorset, Oxfordshire, Herefordshire and the Isle Of Skye.

The properties also include luxurious outdoor amenities including fire pits, hot tubs, heated swimming pools as well as a private woodland.

The homes are selected from more than two million properties worldwide, based on very specific criteria. This includes a 4.9-star rating or higher, positive guest reviews, standout amenities and spaces for spending time together with friends and family and managed by Premier Hosts.

1. Uig, Isle of Skye

This contemporary home named Tides is nestled along the high tide line of Uig, designed to embrace its coastal location.

It has panoramic views and the possibility of seal spotting from its deck or cosy living room.

2. Wimborne, Dorset

Thatch Cottage was built more than 300 years ago and was a broom factory in the 1900s.

It’s a perfect stay for anyone wanting to experience a stay in a thatched cottage without sacrificing any modern comforts.

It has a gorgeous enclosed courtyard featuring lots of seating, perfect for gathering with families or friends.

It comes complete with a pool, jacuzzi and sun terraces, perfect for a spring or summer getaway.

3. Dorstone, Herefordshire

4. Bath, Somerset

Bath is home to some of the most gorgeous homes, so it’s no surprise Migon House made the cut as the square outside of the holiday home was used to film Bridgerton back in 2022.

The residence is spread over four floors and is home to a large living room with a wall steeped in books as well as a gorgeous country kitchen.

It dates back to 1740 and boasts many original features giving a real feel for life in the city of Bath.

5. Edinburgh

A spectacular home nestled just a 15-minute walk away from Edinburgh Castle also made Vrbo’s Holiday Home of the Year list.

6. Faringdon, Oxfordshire

If you’re after a taste of the English countryside, look no further than The Oat Barn, situated close to the Cotswolds.
