Mohammed Shami’s brother Mohammed Kaif has bowled exceptionally well against Uttar Pradesh in Ranji Trophy 2024. He recently made his first-class debut for Bengal on January 5. He took 3 wickets in the only innings of Andhra Prades. The game failed to yield any result. However, the 27-year-old showed his class in the second match.
The fast bowler took 4 wickets in the first innings as Uttar Pradesh were bowled out for 60 runs. He scored a valuable 45 not out in Bengali’s reply as Bengal accumulated 188.
In the second innings, Kaif accounted for 3 scalps as the host UP amassed 178/4. The game hasn’t been resumed on Day 4 because of the bad light.
