Rohit Sharma was shocked when the security personnel brutally slammed pitch invader to ground in the IND vs BAN warm-up match in New York. Cricket fans entering the playing area is a common sight in India and the players have often requested the security to refrain from using tough measures.
Howeve, the situation was completely different in New York. A fan wanted to meet India captain and managed to breach the security layer.
It proved costly for him as two officers soon floored him. Rohit was shocked and was seen urging the security to take it easy. However, his plea was not given any important and Sharma had to call someone from outside to calm down the situation.
The pitch invader was then taken away.
Meanwhile, India defended 182 runs and won the game by 60 runs. Rishabh Pant and Hardik Pandya impressed with the bat.
In the bowling department, Arshdeep Singh and Shivam Dube were the top performers.
