Royal Challengers Bengaluru is leading the points table with two wins from as many matches in the Indian Premier League 2025. They defeated Kolkata Knight Riders and Chennai Super Kings in away matches, and the Rajat Patidar-led franchise is now ready to face Gujarat Titans in their first home game of the 18th season. The batters and bowlers have performed their best so far, and the management hopes to see another clinical display in the upcoming contest.
Former India player Sanjay Bangar, who has previously worked with RCB as their coach, opined on the much-awaited clash. He feels it would be a contest between RCB’s batting and GT’s bowling.
“Royal Challengers Bengaluru bats deep, and their batting unit is powerful. They batted superbly against Chennai Super Kings and crossed the 190-run mark. On the other hand, Gujarat Titans’ bowling is strong in comparison with RCB. It would be RCB Batting vs GT Bowling in Bengaluru,” Sanjay Bangar said on Star Sports.
Gujarat started the 18th season with a defeat against Punjab Kings. However, they bounced back against Mumbai Indians at the Narendra Modi stadium. After playing two consecutive games in their backyard, the Shubman Gill-led team will compete in their first away match.
