Former India players have a habit of making bold predictions, and Aakash Chopra is one of them. He has been predicting the players and matches for years, and in the recent turn of events, the veteran has made a bold statement on Yashasvi Jaiswal.
He heaped massive praise after the southpaw scored more than 700 runs in the five-match Test series against England and broke several records. He hit two double hundreds and 2 fifties to accumulate 712 runs at an average of 89 and a strike rate of 79.91.
Jaiswal’s highest score was 214 not out, which came in the third Test in Rajkot. He impressed everyone with his attacking batting display and slammed 26 sices. The youngster was also named the Player of the Series. Aakash said Yashasvi will finish his career as India’s best and greatest left-handed batter.

Jaiswal made his Test debut against West Indies in 2023 and slammed 171 in the first innings of the opening Test. In 9 Tests, he has scored 1028 runs, with the help of three hundreds and 4 fifties. He holds the record of scoring the fastest 1000 Test runs for India.
