Hardik Pandya is the most trolled player on social media. Former India player Irfan Pathan has been targeting him since the first match of Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League 2024. Irfan has not missed a single opportunity to go after the new MI captain. Pandya has himself to blame, as he hasn’t shown up as a batter, bowler, or captain.
After their defeat against Lucknow Super Giants, the chances of Mumbai making it to the playoffs are over. The decision to give Mumbai’s captaincy to Hardik failed miserably. However, Wasim Jaffer has come out supporting Hardik, who is under fire.
He urged Pandya to remain strong and sounded confident that the star player would perform for India in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 and that the critics would applaud him.
“Criticise his performance as much as you want but it’s extremely disappointing to see the constant personal trolling and attacks. Stay strong @hardikpandya7 next month you’ll be playing crucial knocks in WC and the same people will be singing your praise,” Wasim Jaffer wrote on X.
Hardik was appointed Team India’s vice-captain for the global tournament in the West Indies and the United States of America.
