Mitchell Marsh and Aiden Markram once again provided a solid start to Lucknow Super Giants, adding 115 runs for the opening wicket against the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League 2025.
Marsh scored 65 runs off 39 balls, laced with six fours and 4 sixes. On the other hand, Aiden managed 61 runs off 38 deliveries, packed with 4 fours and 4 sixes.
However, Captain Rishabh Pant once again disappointed, scoring 7 runs off 6 balls, with the help of just 1 boundary. Ayush Badoni managed just 3 runs off 5 balls. Nicholas Pooran posted 45 runs off 26 balls, including 6 boundaries and 1 six as Lucknow posted 205/7 in 20 overs.
Eshan Malinga took two wickets and conceded just 28 runs from 4 overs. Harsh Dubey, who was making his debut for Hyderabad, went for 44 runs and dismissed one batter. Harshal Patel added one scalp to his bowling figures. Lucknow will have to win the game to stay alive in the playoff race. With Gujarat Titans, Punjab Kings, and Royal Challengers Bengaluru already making it to the next round, the remaining one spot will see LSG, Mumbai Indians, and Delhi Capitals giving their best.
