India National Cricket Team spinner Kuldeep Yadav recently hit out at a fan on social media who targeted him for his performance in the ICC 2023 ODI World Cup final against Australia at the Narendra Modi Stadium. The Men in Blue lost the match by 6 wickets, and Kuldeep went wicketless.
The troll mentioned that almost all the players were slammed on the first anniversary of the painful defeat in the 2023 World Cup, but Kuldeep escaped the anger. “Sabki pelai ho rhi but Is bkl ko koi kyun nhi pel rha,” a user wrote on X.
Kuldeep didn’t like the comment and asked him if he was being paid to target him or if it was a case of personal rivalry.
“Hanji kis cheez ki dikkat hai apko , itna pyara likhne ke liye paise mile ya koi Jati dus mani hai?” he replied.
Kuldeep conceded 56 runs from his 10 overs as India failed to defend 240 runs. He bagged 15 wickets in 11 games in the ICC tournament.
He was not included in the Test squad for the Border-Gavakar Trophy 2024 in Australia. Despite performing well in red-ball cricket, the selectors snubbed Kuldeep.
