Jetline Travel ‘goes into administration’ putting holidays at risk | Cruise | Travel

A travel company selling cheap package holidays and cruises has entered administration. Jetline Travel ceased trading as an ATOL holder in March. The travel provider has now been taken into administration, TTG reports. 

Neil Bennett from the corporate recovery and insolvency firm Leonard Curtis and Alan Clark, of financial assistance specialist Carter Clark, were appointed joint administrators on March 28, according to Travel Weekly. The same publication reports Jetline Travel ceased trading early last month, with 800 forward bookings and 20 customers overseas. An industry source said to have knowledge of the company told Travel Weekly the company did “a huge amount of business in the US”, warning “a lot of suppliers may take a hit”. 

A second source said the company “had been winding down for a while”, suggesting volumes weren’t substantial, according to the same publication.

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) previously said: “Jetline Travel Ltd Atol 6153 has ceased trading as an Atol holder on 6th March 2025.”

The Air Travel Organisers’ Licence (ATOL) is a financial protection scheme which is run by the CAA for package holidays sold by tour operators in Britain. It means a customer will be refunded if a firm goes under.

Jetline Travel trades under a number of names, including Bargain Late Holidays, Best Priced Holidays, Cruise & More, Elegant Getaways, Jetline Cruise, Our Best Holidays and Save on Sun, according to the Independent.

A spokesperson for Advantage Travel Partnership, which represents Jetline in the travel industry network, expressed deep regret about the situation.

They told the publication: “We are greatly saddened that Jetline Travel has ceased trading. They have been a highly valued member of the Partnership since 2015, and our thoughts are with their customers and staff who have been impacted.”

The Express has attempted to contact Jetline Travel via Jetline Cruise’s office in Barnet, North London.

The company was set up in 2000 and held a licence to carry 4,790 ATOL-protected passengers in the year to the end of September 2025, according to TTG.

It reported on March 5 that Cunard, Princess Cruises, P&O Cruises and Holland America Line bookings made by Jetline Holidays had been cancelled. The Carnival brands cited an alleged “breach of contract” in a joint statement.

The statement, quoted by TTG, read: “Princess Cruises, along with Cunard and Holland America Line, has made the difficult decision to cancel some outstanding bookings made through Jetline Holidays due to its breach of contract.

“All other bookings, including all P&O Cruises bookings, have been transferred to direct bookings.”
