Former player Sanjay Manjrekar didn’t like Gill’s decision to keep Sundar away from the attack.
“Is Shubman Gill taking decisions alone? You would expect him to take some inputs or maybe he has done so well as a batter, others are not saying anything thinking he is into the zone,” Manjrekar said on JioHotstar.
“I don’t think Jasprit Bumrah and KL Rahul will agree with this move or Gautam Gambhir thinking Washi shouldn’t be used,” he added.
