MANCHESTER, England (AP) — Former England captain Michael Atherton feels Rishabh Pant’s injury is not good for India. He retired hurt after being unable to continue with the injured foot on the opening day of the fourth test against England on Wednesday.

With the new ball due, England will have a chance to dismiss India. But if Pant returns, he could change the game. We have no information available on his injury. But it looked like a serious injury, because you don’t get carted off,” he said. For India, Jaiswal and Sai Sudharsan scored fifties.
