IPL 2025 Mega Auction: Rishabh Pant, Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul among 23 Indian cricketers with INR 2 crore base price
A total of 1165 Indian cricketers have registered for the IPL 2025 mega auction. According to India Today, 1574 players will participate in the two-day auction process, scheduled for November 24 and 25 in Jeddah.
23 Indian players have kept their base price at INR 2 crore, the highest category.
Rishabh Pant, KL Rahul, and Shreyas Iyer are part of the top bracket.
Indian Cricketers With INR 2 Crore Base Price

Riyadh was given the hosting rights of the auction process, but after a last-minute venue change, the Abady Al Johar Arena is now the venue of the mega auction.
An email was sent to all the IPL stakeholders to inform them that the two-day event has been shifted from Riyadh to Jeddah.
“The venue for the auction will be Abady Al Johar Arena (also known as Benchmark Arena) and the accommodation will be at the Hotel Shangri-la which is at a distance of 10 minutes from the auction venue. Our operations team will be in touch for the visa and logistics requirements,” the email read.
1574 players include 320 capped cricketers, 1224 uncapped players, and 30 cricketers from Associate Nations.
When the auction starts, India and Australia will be in the middle of the first Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. The opening Test in Perth is scheduled to begin on November 22.
