Since Operation Sindoor, controversies have erupted around the matches between India and Pakistan in ICC tournaments. Despite all this, the two nations will face off on October 5 at the Colombo ground.
In fact, the Women’s ODI World Cup is set to begin on September 30. While India is hosting this mega tournament, the Pakistani women’s team will not tour India. In light of this, the ICC has decided that the match will be played at a neutral venue.
Under the hybrid model, the Pakistani women’s team will play all their matches in Sri Lanka. Earlier this year, the men’s ICC Champions Trophy was hosted by Pakistan, but India played all its matches in Dubai.
