The owners of this gorgeous snowy resort are Vail Resorts, who bought Whistler Blackcomb for $1.39 billion in 2016.

It has not been confirmed what the royal couple plan to do on Valentine’s Day, but they will have plenty of choice as Whistler Blackcomb has a culinary scene that could rival a major city.

The ski resort and nearby town that is part of the resort holds more than 170 restaurants on the premises with a range of dining experiences from Italian, French, Mexican, and even more.

On their website, Whistler Blackcomb stated: “When you’re packing for your Whistler Blackcomb escape, don’t forget to bring your appetite.”

One place Harry and Meghan may find themselves in is the iconic Umbrella Bar, located at the very top of Whistler Mountain and holds stunning views of the mountain range.

The bar is described as Whistler’s “best-kept secret” and offers a bottle of cabernet sauvignon wine for $64 and a bottle of chardonnay for $82.

However, one of the most exclusive dining experiences is the Rimrock Cafe, a fine-dining seafood restaurant which is known to serve both global and local wines.

Some of the luxury items on the menu include caviar as an appetizer, which costs $49 and the rib eye steak as a main course, which costs $72. There is also the choice of wild salmon ($49), duck ($51), ling cod ($49), lamb ($56), or millet mignon ($65).

There is also the Red Door Bistro, a French restaurant which has quickly become one of Whistler’s most talked about restaurants and has the No. 1 spot on Trip Advisor for fine dining restaurants.

The Red Door Bistro offers a seared New Zealand venison for $70, a New York steak for $77, Quebec duck breast for $48, and Alberta wild boar for $47.

The fine dining restaurant has earned plenty of praise online, as one reviewer wrote: “Fab steaks, and the pepper sauce is the best I’ve tasted in a restaurant.”

For a romantic Italian dinner, Whistler also has the Il Caminetto which is run by the acclaimed chef James Walt, who has been described as “one of the country’s leading chefs.”

Some luxurious items on the menu are the grilled branzino and octopus for $45.50, the Quebec veal for $49.50, lobster for $49.50, and the pumpkin ravioli for $37.50.

The Il Caminetto also offers a range of wine for every price bracket, with a bottle of white wine costing $56 to $309 while a bottle of champagne can range from $153 to $1720.

No matter where Meghan and Harry decide to dine for Valentine’s Day, they will have plenty of choice for a date night in the winter wonderland of Whistler.
