Celebrity hairstylist Aalim Hakim recently revealed that Virat Kohli takes matters into his own hands when it comes to grooming his beard, shaping and styling it by himself. Hakim praised the former India captain for his keen sense of style, even going so far as to call him a grooming expert.
Hakim shared these insights during a podcast with Hindirush, where he also mentioned that Kohli has the ability to give haircuts to others, thanks to his skills. The renowned stylist added that the cricketer’s grooming expertise extends beyond just his own look.
It’s worth noting that Kohli is a regular client of Aalim Hakim. Ahead of the 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL), the cricketer had a fresh cut from the celebrity hairstylist to ensure he was looking sharp for the season.
Kohli, however, is not part of the Indian squad for the ongoing five-match Test series against England. He had announced his retirement from red-ball cricket last month, bringing an end to an illustrious 14-year career in Test cricket.
Despite this, Kohli has been in excellent form during the IPL 2025, accumulating 657 runs in 15 innings, and finishing as the highest run-scorer for RCB. His impressive performances helped the Bengaluru-based franchise secure their first-ever IPL title, ending an 18-year wait for a trophy.
