Samajwadi Party MP Priya Saroj got engaged to Team India player Rinku Singh in a grand ceremony in Lucknow.
The engagement was attended by former chief minister Akhilesh Yadav and his wife Dimple. Jaya Bachchan, Rajeev Shukla and Ram Gopal Yadav were also present. Tufani Saroj, who is Priya Saroj’s father, revealed that the wedding will be held on November 18.

Priya Saroj is one of the youngest Members of Parliament and hails from Varanasi.
Priya’s father Tufani is a three-time MP and current MLA from Kerakat.
She was born in 1998 and went to the Air Force Golden Jubilee Institute New Delhi for her schooling. She completed her BA from Delhi University and LLB from Amity University, Noida. She also practiced in the Supreme Court.
Priya won the Machhlishahr seat on Samajwadi Party ticket. She defeated BJP veteran BP Saroj.
She is a part of the parliamentary committee on social justice and empowerment
Rinku Singh recently played for the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the Indian Premier League 2025.
