You’ll Spend More Time Building This Bugatti Than A Billionaire Spends Driving One

Every Bugatti is special by nature, but the Chiron-based Centodieci unveiled back in 2019 is one of the brand’s most memorable, and valuable, limited-edition models launched in the past decade. Capped at just 10 units worldwide and inspired by the EB110, the Centodieci is the type of car that only billionaires can afford. But now the average Joe can own their own piece of Bugatti history.

A Pocket-Sized Centodieci for the Rest of Us

Bugatti has partnered with Lego to create a Speed Champions version of the Centodieci. The new model could be perfect for any Bugatti enthusiast you have in your life who isn’t able to splurge more than $10 million to buy a real one.

The mini Bugatti is made up of 291 pieces and is 6 inches (15 cm) long, 2.5 inches (7 cm) wide, and 1.5 inches (4 cm) tall. Given that this is a Lego Speed Champions model, rather than a Lego Technic, it’s obviously far more blocky than the original car and some of the proportions are a little off.

That being said, the Lego model does include many of the Centodieci’s most important components, including the blacked-out rear wing and a piece with a stick mimicking the five circular air vents behind the side windows. There’s also a small Bugatti sticker to replicate the front badge, the customary horseshoe grille, and a tiny set of wing mirrors.

Bugatti’s managing director, Weibke Stahl, sees it as more than just a toy. “The Bugatti Centodieci is among the most distinctive creations in our history, inspired by a beloved icon of the Bugatti story,” Stahl said. “Thanks to our collaboration with the LEGO Group, more people than ever before can experience this extraordinary car. It is a wonderful way to inspire the next generation of Bugatti enthusiasts and LEGO builders.”

The Lego Centodieci officially launched worldwide on August 1. In the US, it’s priced at just $26.99, a far cry from the eight-figure price tag of the full-size version, and probably the only Bugatti that fits on a shelf rather than in a climate-controlled garage.
