Top gainers & losers today 14th July 2025: Sensex, Nifty 50 in red, Eternal, Sun Pharma lead gains, Wipro, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, TCS & HCL Tech fall

The domestic market tanked on Monday driven by weak corporate results, global trade fears and foreign fund outflows.

Sensex traded 352.46 pts or 0.43 per cent lower at 82,148.01 as at 12.4 8 pm (hitting an intraday low of 82,059.01 against the previous close of 82,500.47), and Nifty 50 fell by 97.95 pts or 0.39 per cent to 25,051.90.

Smallcap index outperformed midcap with 0.71 per cent and 0.53 per cent gain, respectively.

TCS’s weak Q1 earnings and cautious guidance sparked a broad sectoral sell-off. Nifty IT was down 1.54 per cent at the time of writing. Meanwhile, healthcare, realty and media gained over 1 per cent.

Top gainers & losers intraday

Eternal, Sun Pharma, Adani Enterprises, Apollo Hospitals and Coal India led the gainers of Nifty 50 pack at the time of writing, while Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Infosys, Jio Financial and TCS were the major laggards.

Nearly 1,577 shares declined and 1,229 stocks advanced on the National Stock Exchange of all the 2,888 stocks that were traded.

Allied Blenders and Distillers, Cartrade Tech. Anand Rathi and JP Power were among the 72 stocks that hit a 52-week high, while 31 stocks hit a 52-week low.

81 shares hit the upper circuit and 59 hit the lower circuit.

All IT stocks such as Coforge, Persistent Systems, Mphasis, HCL Tech and TCS traded in the negative range, except OFSS.

Midcap & smallcap movers

Among the midcap basket, Ola Electric zoomed over 15 per cent following Q1 results. Waaree Energies, Vodafone Idea, Max Health, BSE, Vishal Mega Mart and Ashok Leyland surged 3-7 per cent. Cochin Shipyard, Solar Industries, Cummins, Bharti Hexacom and BDL drepreciated close to 2 per cent.

In the smallcap basket, Neuland Lab, PEL, Godfrey Phillips, Indiamart, Laurus Labs and Castrol India soared 3-12 per cent. Meanwhile, GRSE, Zen Tech, Lal Path, ACE and PVR Inox fell 2-3 per cent.

On the BSE, Ola Electric rallied 16 per cent, Neuland jumped 13 per cent, JP Power, Anand Rathi and Vodafone Idea soared 7-9 per cent.
