Shah Rukh Khan’s co-star Priyamani reveals how the star provided bodyguards for his ‘Jawan’ girls’ safety

Actor Shah Rukh Khan seems to have been enjoying one of the best years of his career with two back-to-back blockbusters – Pathaan and Jawan – and now gearing up for his third release this year. While his latest release Jawan did great business both in India and abroad, it also went on to become one of the biggest films of the year.

There is no doubt to do it SRK and the entire team of Jawan celebrated the film’s remarkable success through multiple parties and events. It was at one of those parties where the superstar’s heartfelt gesture is now winning the internet’s hearts.

Shah Rukh Khan, who is otherwise known for being a true gentleman especially when it comes to his female fans or female co-stars, in a thoughtful gesture went the extra mile to ensure the well-being of his female colleagues, displaying a considerate side of his personality.

When SRK assigned bodyguards for his Jawan girls’ safety

Actress Priyamani who played a prominent role in the Atlee film in a recent conversation with Curly Tales shared how the actor arranged for bodyguards to accompany the female guests.

Recalling a party which was organised by the film’s director Atlee for the entire Jawan team, Priyamani noted that the entire cast including Shah Rukh Khan and even Thalapathy Vijay was in attendance. She further recalled that it was around 2-3 AM when a few female guests got ready to leave, catching the actor’s attention. It was then that SRK took personal responsibility for their safety and escorted them to their car, personally ensuring their safe departure.

He went the extra mile by arranging for two bodyguards to accompany them all the way to their hotels.

The actress noted that despite their assurances that they don’t need extra precautions, the Pathaan actor affirmed that the bodyguards will accompany them. Further, she also shared how the guards insisted on waiting outside the hotel until the women safely entered the elevator.

“They said that sir has specifically said we have to be there till you guys are safe in the hotel. Once we entered the lift, when they said bye and they left” Priyamani said while describing SRK’s extremely caring and thoughtful gesture.

Jawan success 

Atlee’s directorial film, Jawan went on to become a global smash hit and also emerged as the most successful Bollywood film in the history of Indian cinema, breaking several records. While fans already went crazy as they eagerly anticipated the film, Jawan also touched staggering numbers at the box office both domestically and internationally.
