Making a hot statement in red, global star Priyanka Chopra Jonas dazzled in a sheer, shimmery saree designed by globally-acclaimed couturier Sabyasachi Mukherjee.
While this isn’t the first time, the OG Desi Girl has made an opulent statement in the six-yards of sheer elegance. However, there was something about this saree that was all heart. The sheer red fabric was enhanced with sequin detailing featuring intricate heart motifs strategically placed all over the saree.
According to reports, Priyanka attended an intimate Diwali dinner with husband, singer Nick Jonas, who looked dapper in an ivory Sabyasachi kurta and intricately embroidered bundi. While all eyes were on Priyanka, she paired the opulent saree with a contemporary deep V-neck sleeveless blouse.
Styled by celebrity stylist Ami Patel, the couple Priyanka and Nick looked stunning in the red and ivory colour palette and added festive cheer to their Diwali celebrations. Ami has played an integral role in styling Priyanka’s iconic styles over the years and this look is definitely going to be a festive favourite.
Priyanka, accessorised with red bangles, a tiny bindi exuded the perfect Indian festive look. The saree also sets the tone for the upcoming wedding season and is the perfect canvas for brides-to-be. Priyanka Chopra Jonas was recently in India for the launch of the makeup brand Max Factor and also attended the screening of the Marathi film, Paani, produced by her production house, Purple Pebble Pictures. Priyanka was accompanied by her mother, Madhu Chopra and brother Siddharth Chopra. For the screening, Priyanka looked ethereal in a Tarun Tahiliani corset-saree.
