The Hennessey Venom F5 is not exactly the kind of car you stumble across in a dealership lot next to a lightly used Camry. It’s a hyper-exclusive machine, with a price tag in the millions and a production schedule that’s already locked up through the end of 2026. Even buyers with seven-figure budgets may find themselves stuck on a waitlist.
But if patience isn’t your strong suit—or you’re not into waiting two years for a car—you’re in luck, as one of only 24 Venom F5 coupes believed to be planned for production is up for grabs at auction.

This particular example has actually seen some use. The original owner racked up over 1,500 miles in the American-made beast, which is powered by a twin-turbocharged 6.6-liter V8 producing up to 1,817 hp (1,842 PS / 1,355 kW) and 1,193 lb-ft (1,617 Nm) of torque. All that grunt is sent to the rear wheels through a 7-speed single-clutch automated transmission.
While that’s barely a warm-up lap for a daily driver, it’s a notable amount of seat time for a car that lives in the rarefied air of ultra-limited production supercars.

One standout feature of this F5 is its seats, which are reportedly the first “Comfort” seats ever installed in the model. Just don’t let the name fool you—this isn’t a rolling La-Z-Boy. Comfort is relative when you’re bolted into a carbon-fiber missile. Up front, the steering setup leans more spaceship than sports car. It’s technically a yoke, not a wheel, further driving home the point that this car isn’t built for a leisurely cruise through the suburbs.
The Venom F5 is undeniably one of the most powerful and capable production cars in the world. In March of 2024, it set the lap record at the Circuit of the Americas before Czinger snatched it away by less than a second in August. Hennessey also set the half-mile record by going 221.92 mph (357.15 km/h) in that distance from a standing start.
Last year, another Venom F5 popped up at auction and sold for just over $2 million. That example had only 229 miles on the odometer but was also a year older. It’ll be interesting to see what this one trades for at SBX Cars when the hammer falls on April 17.
