Nissan GT-R NISMO Driver Runs Out Of Talent And Brains In Front Of A Crowd

The Nissan GT-R is a delicately crafted supercar with mind-blowing performance and breakthrough tech. Several of its parts are built by hand in a temperature-controlled room and it gets a stamp with the technician’s name on it when it leaves production. The driver in this video tries to impress some meetup attendees and stuffs this rare Nismo GT-R into a parked car.

This video was reportedly shot in Jamaica and appears to take place on Tom Redcam Drive near the UCC campus. The crowd makes space for the supercar to leave the group and the driver tries to show off by speeding away.

The driver loses control at the only slight bend in the road and stuffs the front of the car into two parked cars. The damage is extensive and likely beyond reasonable repair. The hood, bumper, and front fenders are all destroyed. The airbags deployed and one of the shock top hats blew through the tower and into the engine bay. It appears that everyone in the car escaped without serious injury.

The GT-R, though, is possibly toast. There’s no telling what damage might be beyond the cosmetic, but it’s not likely to be a cheap fix. Some in the crowd alerted the tow truck driver to the fact that this is an AWD vehicle with a transfer case, so hopefully, damage to that component was minimized. Either way, it looks like Jamaica has one less supercar on the road for the foreseeable future.
