New Pictures Show Bugatti Tourbillon In All Its Glory
- The first customer deliveries for the new hypercar will kick off in 2026.

Following a whirlwind tour across the States, Bugatti’s new hypercar, the Tourbillon, has made its way to East Asia, where it’s been showcased to customers, media, and fans in Japan and Singapore. These stops at local dealerships mark another chapter in the car’s global debut, as Bugatti continues to build build interest ahead of its 2026 customer deliveries.

In designing and engineering a successor to the iconic Chiron, Bugatti could have decided to go the easy route and used the same platform and W16 powertrain as its predecessor, just like it did when building the replacement for the Veyron. However, with Mate Rimac now in charge, Bugatti decided to start from scratch, building a new hypercar with a bespoke platform and a new V16 engine from Cosworth unlike any other on the market.

The design of the Tourbillon is also quite a departure from its predecessors, yet remains instantly recognizable as a Bugatti. The flowing lines are more dramatic than ever and stand out against the architecture found throughout East Asia. While in Japan, Bugatti brought the Tourbillon to the Kashihara Kingu Shrine and Abuden Miso, a building from 1868.

Bugatti won’t start customer deliveries of the Tourbillon until 2026 and continues to test and fine-tune the car. The heart of the new hypercar is the 8.3-liter naturally-aspirated V16 that revs to 9,000 rpm and produces 986 hp. While that engine alone is impressive, it’s been accompanied by three electric motors, lifting combined output to 1,775 hp.
