Janhvi Kapoor’s Checkered Mini Dress Has Sister Khushi’s Approval

Recently, the Bollywood diva sent ripples through the fashion world with her bold embrace of coquette-core, proving that this whimsical trend is far from over. Her recent appearance in Alessandra Rich’s mini lace-up dress exuded a playful vibe.

In a nod to timeless glamour, Janhvi chose the iconic Opera House in Mumbai as the backdrop for her fashion statement. The dress she flaunts features a plaid check pattern in shades of black and white. It also boasts a short-puffed sleeve, lace-up fastening, high-low hemline, bodycon fit, and sweetheart plunging neckline. Her lacy dress is priced at around Rs. 1.74 lakh. In terms of styling, Janhvi chose pearl earrings from Perle, statement rings from Hazoorilal Legacy Jewellers, and a sleek necklace featuring the initials ‘Shikhu,’ speculated to represent her boyfriend. A pair of white Jimmy Choo pointed heels rounded off the look.

Under the skilled hands of makeup artist Tanvi Chemburkar, Janhvi’s face was adorned with subtle, clean makeup featuring bold eyes, contoured cheeks, blush, and a brown shade of lipstick. Her luscious locks were styled into a half ponytail, with a section pinned back to elegantly cascade down her shoulders.

However, this isn’t Janhvi’s first time slaying the coquette-core trend. Previously, for an ad, she rocked a black mini dress embellished with small white polka dots. The dress boasted a deep V neckline, secured with pearl-embellished bows. Janhvi opted for a minimalist jewellery look, while her subtle makeup complemented the attire perfectly.

In another stunning look, Janhvi stuns in a denim cord set from the shelves of the international label self-portrait. Her ensemble consists of an embellished crop top paired with a high-waisted denim skirt adorned with a trio of diamanté buttons. Janhvi opted for minimal makeup and complemented her look with a simple half-open back-brushed hairdo.
