admin June 6, 2025 ArticleJAC 12th Arts Result 2025: The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) will announce Class 12 Arts results on Thursday, June 5. JAC Inter result 2025 is usually declared in a press conference; however, it is not clear if there will be one for the 12th Arts Result.
Along with the result, the education board will release key statistics, including the pass percentage, division-wise performance, merit list, toppers’ list and more.

The Class 12th arts stream examination took place from 11 February 2025 to 3 March 2025. The JAC released the class 12th result for Commerce and Science streams on 31 May this year.

The Jharkhand Board said 95.62 per cent of Class 12 students have passed in Arts.
A total of 2,27,222 students had appeared for the Class 12 Arts board exam, of which 2,17,273 students passed.

JAC 12th Arts Result 2025: Pass percentage improves
The Jharkhand Board said the pass percentage for the Class 12 arts stream has improved over the years.
It gradually increased from 79.97 per cent in 2019 to 97.43 per cent in 2022 and 95.62 per cent in 2025.
The pass percentage has remained in 90s since 2021.

JAC Class 12th Arts Result 2025: Passing marks
According to the Jharkhand Board, the JAC Class 12 passing marks are 23 out of 70 and 33 out of 100 in respective subjects.
JAC Class 12th Arts Result 2025: Marks required for first division
Students who score above 60 per cent marks in aggregate will be placed in the first division.
JAC Class 12th Arts Result 2025: Past Trends
In 2024, the overall pass percentage of JAC Class 12th Arts stream stood at 95.97 per cent.
A total of 2,28,436 students were registered for the examination, out of which 2,19,838 passed.
What is the grace mark policy for JAC Class 12 results?
A student who is failing in only one subject by 5% or less of the total marks may be awarded up to 5% grace marks in that subject.
If a student is failing in two subjects and the shortfall in each is 3% or less of the total marks, they may receive up to 3% grace marks in both subjects.
If a student has not received grace marks under the above provisions and falls short by five marks or fewer of qualifying for a higher division, grace marks may be granted to enable them to attain that higher division.

Commerce: 91.92 per cent
JAC 12th Commerce stream pass percentage
This year, the overall pass percentage of the Commerce stream is 91.2%. A total of 22,066 candidates appeared for the exam, out of which 20,285 candidates passed.
JAC 12th Science stream pass percentage
A total of 98,634 candidates have appeared for the Science stream exam, out of which 78,186 candidates have passed. The overall pass percentage is 79.26%.
