Demand Gen Report Names New Editor

DemandGenReport.com is pleased to announce the hiring of James Hickey as the new editor at the website owned and operated by Emerald, the nation’s leading tradeshow company.

Vito Salvatore, Associate Publisher of Demand Gen Report and B2B Marketing Exchange, notes that Hickey brings 30 years of journalism and editorial management experience including stops with business-to-business magazines, sports and covering local and national political news.

“James brings a fresh perspective and a very practical understanding of B2B MarTech Space,” said Salvatore. “In addition to leading the editorial direction and operations at DemandGenReport.com, James will collaborate closely with his colleagues on #B2BMX events.”

Prior to joining the Emerald team, Hickey founded North-Jersey News.com where he was editor-in-chief for the independent online publication that covered both state and national politics for the residents of Northern New Jersey. He previously also served in the business-to-business space, as managing editor of The Food Institute. During his time there, he reported and edited stories that covered the business side of the food industry, from farm to fork.
