China’s New Honda Integra Limited Edition Wants To Look Like A Racecar

The model features red stripes and racing decals over the stock bodywork

The Chinese-market Honda Integra just got a new “Anniversary Special Limited Edition”, featuring a fancy livery inspired by racecars.

The highlight of the exterior is the red and black “Limited Edition” decals on the doors, red stripes on the doors, hood, and roof, and matching door mirror caps likely sourced from the Civic Type R.

Setting aside the new livery, the wheels and bodywork are carried over from the standard Integra. While Honda decided not to use it, we think Mugen’s bodykit for the Integra would be a fitting addition to this special edition.

Inside, the Integra continues the red and black theme with matching inserts on the dashboard and doors. Standard equipment includes the 12-speaker Bose audio system. Owners will also be treated with Integra-branded accessories, including a suitcase, a stylish backpack, and a water bottle.

The anniversary special is available with both available powertrain options – a turbo 1.5-liter VTEC with 180 hp (134 kW / 182 PS), or the more efficient 2.0-liter e:HEV self-charging hybrid. In both cases, power is transmitted to the front wheels via a CVT gearbox, with the ICE-only model offering the option of a six-speed manual transmission.

The Honda Integra Anniversary Special Limited Edition is already available to order in China. GAC-Honda said it will be available in limited numbers, for a premium of only ¥1,688 ($233) over the standard Integra priced between ¥129,000-186,900 ($17,919-25,781).

GAC-Honda introduced the Integra in 2021, offering an alternative to the Civic manufactured by Dongfeng-Honda. In 2023, the four-door sedan was joined by a five-door hatchback. The Integra and Civic share the same underpinnings, interior, and a large portion of the sheet metal, but feature unique faces and different front/rear bumpers.
