Every Lamborghini adorned with an SV badge is special, but there’s just something about the Diablo SV that makes it stand out from the others, like the Miura, Murcielago, and Aventador. Perhaps we’re just feeling nostalgic or yearning to get behind the wheel of a supercar from the 90s. Whatever the case may be, this Diablo SV could be the perfect buy for anyone feeling the same way.
The Lamborghini is a 1998 model painted in black with iconic silver SV graphics on both sides. Complementing the finish of the body are 18-inch multi-piece alloy wheels wrapped in Pirelli P Zero Rosso tires measuring 235/35 at the front and 335/30 at the rear. While the car is 26 years old, it still looks superb and the shape is just as evocative today as it was when the Diablo first rolled out of the factory.

Bring a Trailer is auctioning off the car and notes it’s spent much of its life in California and currently has ~27,000 km or ~17,000 miles on the clock. Importantly, it has a clean Arizona title but was involved in a minor accident that damaged the left side. The paint has been corrected, the entire body ceramic coated, and a clear paint protection film applied.
The beating heart of the Diablo SV comes in the form of a 5.7-liter naturally aspirated V12 with 522 hp and 446 lb-ft (605 Nm) of torque. This engine was removed in early 2022 as part of a major service and benefited from new head gaskets, spark plugs, engine mounts, and camshaft gaskets. Mated to the V12 is a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.
The cabin screams 1990s. It’s adorned almost exclusively in black leather with plenty of black plastic buttons found throughout. There’s also a carbon fiber shift knob and an Alpine cassette/CD player.
