Aamir Khan gets teary-eyed at daughter Ira’s wedding; videos go viral

Whether a common man or a celebrity, getting one’s daughter married is one of the most emotional and heartwarming moments for all. Fathers can’t help but shed tears during the wedding ceremonies and, of course, during Bidaai, where they send off their daughters to their partner’s house. Things were no different for superstar Aamir Khan, as he recently got his daughter, Ira Khan, married. In videos going viral on social media, the Dangal actor could be seen getting emotional in multiple instances.

In one such video, Ira can be seen walking down the aisle with her parents, Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta. A visibly nervous Ira walks into the centre while her parents remain by her side. However, it was an emotional Aamir that caught our attention. The actor, seemingly overwhelmed with emotions, was seen wiping away his tears as he walked his daughter down the aisle.

Not just that, he was also seen tenderly fixing Ira’s veil, adding to the special father-daughter moment.

Apart from this, another video making the rounds on the internet shows the actor getting emotional yet again as Ira and Nupur exchange wedding vows. Aamir, who was seated in the audience, wiped his tears as he was overwhelmed with emotions.

Ira looked beautiful in a white gown with sheer embellishments. She completed the look with a minimalist style and a gorgeous tiara. Nupur Shikhare, on the other hand, donned a classic beige tuxedo. A few other pictures are also going viral on social media showing Aamir and Ira’s fun dance at the wedding.

Aamir Khan’s daughter, Ira Khan, got married to her longtime boyfriend and fiance, Nupur Shikhare, in a beautiful white wedding in Udaipur on Wednesday, 10 December. They clearly had a typical big, fat wedding with pre-wedding festivities in the company of family and friends.

Many other pictures and videos also went viral from their mehendi and sangeet ceremonies. Earlier, Ira and Nupur registered their marriage in an intimate ceremony in the company of close friends and family members in Mumbai. Going by the reports, the family will host a wedding reception on 13 January 2024 at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre.
