A Family Tragedy Froze Alfa Romeo Dealership In Time And The Cars Remain Untouched

For enthusiasts of vintage Alfa Romeos, stumbling upon a hidden trove of classic models is nothing short of a dream. One such place exists in Belgium, where a long-abandoned dealership quietly shelters a collection of cars that once turned heads, and still might, under all the dust.

This forgotten site was brought to light by YouTuber The Bearded Explorer, who filmed a walkthrough and shared its quiet, haunting story. The location remains undisclosed for obvious reasons, but signs of time and neglect are hard to miss. Weeds grow wild, signage has faded, and inside, dust blankets the space. Even the aquarium has long since run dry.

A Fleet Left Behind

Scattered inside and outside the property are several Alfa Romeos in varying conditions. Among the more notable survivors is a 166 sedan powered by the beloved 3.0-liter Busso V6, now left to weather the elements. A blue 156 GTA sits inside the showroom, also fitted with a variant of that same engine.

Other models that appear on the video are a classic Giulia, an Alfetta, a 75 (Milano), a couple of 33s including a race-prepped example, a 155 with special wheels, a 145, as well as the more recent 156, 147, GT, and 159 Sportwagon. We can also see cars from other automakers such as a Smart Forfour, an Abarth Punto, and a pair of MG TF roadsters.

Still Visited, Yet Frozen In Time

Surprisingly, some of the cars appear well-kept, with clean interiors and inflated tires, suggesting that someone still maintains the space – at least occasionally. This is especially evident in the service area, which looks more organized than expected.

According to The Bearded Explorer, a neighbor approached him during filming and shared more of the story. The dealership had once been run by her husband, who died tragically in a car accident just down the road. Since then, her son has occasionally returned to clean up and check on the cars, but the office itself has remained untouched for years.

This tragic story explains why the family of the deceased didn’t want to sell the building or the vehicles that come with it. Even more intriguing is that the 156 GTA out front actually belongs to a customer who never returned to collect it.

No one can say how many of the cars still run or how difficult they would be to restore. But should they ever be offered at auction, it’s safe to say the Alfa Romeo faithful would line up for a chance to bring one home.
