According to RCB head coach Andy Flower, RCB thinks they can make it to the playoffs in the IPL 2024. Prior to their home games against GT, Flower stated that the squad is making every effort to win games . RCB will try to complete a hat trick after defeating SRH and GT in back-to-back games. After battling for momentum the entire season, the team has at last matured in the second half of the competition.
Flower stated that he was happy that RCB’s playoff chances were still alive, but wished they were in a better position at the points table. Flower praised the bowlers and stated they had attacked the opposition fearlessly in the last 3 games.
“We still have a chance to make the playoffs, which is a fantastic. Although it is obvious that we would have preferred to be in a far better position than we are, there is still hope. And we continue to have faith,” noted Flower.
“The opportunity to bat in the middle will undoubtedly excite our batsmen. Our fast bowling section has been playing quite aggressively lately, and I would want to them continue with the same approach,” he further stated.
When RCB previously played at Bengaluru, the game resulted in an aggregate score of more than 500 runs. RCB lost the record chase against SRH, but they’ll be very confident going into the match this time. Speaking on the same video, captain Faf du Plessis expressed his happiness that the squad has managed two victories in a row and that they are finally playing in the way they intended to.
RCB are currently placed at the bottom of the table and would overtake MI if they defeat GT on 4th May.
