Indian women’s captain Harmanpreet Kaur brought her team back into the one-off Test against Australia on Saturday when she got rid of the opposition skipper Alyssa Healy. After dismissing Tahlia McGrath, Harmanpreet was pumped up. Healy hit one of the deliveries towards the bowler and Harmanpreet threw the ball back to the wicket-keeper.
Alyssa Healy brought her bat in between to avoid getting hit and the ball went to the third man boundary. Harmanpreet appeal against her for obstructing the field but umpire signaled four runs in the form of overthrow.
On the very next delivery, Healy tried to play a sweep shot but missed it completely. The ball hit on her pads and umpire raised the finger. Harmanpreet looked angry and was seen staring at her.
The replays showed three reds and the Australian skipper had to returned to the dressing room.
