Chennai Super Kings scored 187/8 against Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League 2025. RR captain Sanju Samson won the toss and invited Chennai to bat first in Delhi. Ayush Mhatre was magnificent with the bat, scoring 43 runs off 20 balls. He hit 8 fours and 1 six. Devon Conway (10), Urvil Patel (0), Ravichandran Ashwin (13) and Ravindra Jadeja (1) were ordinary.
Chennai’s injury replacement Dewald Brevis once again showed his class, amassing 42 runs off 25 balls, including 3 sixes 2 fours.
Shivam Dube tried his best to take the total close to 200 runs but he was dismissed after scoring 39 runs off 32 balls, packed with 2 fours and 2 sixes.
CSK captain MS Dhoni was again disappointed with the bat, posting 16 runs off 17 balls. Yudhvir Singh and Akash Madhwal took three wickets each.
