Former India player RP Singh slammed the five-time champions and mentioned the names of captain MS Dhoni, all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja and pacer Matheesha Pathirana while reflecting on the reasons behind the franchise’s no-show in the 18th season of the tournament.
Chennai started the IPL 2025 with a win over Mumbai Indians at home but lost the next five consecutive matches at their fortress. There was no consistency from the batters, while the bowlers showed class in patches.
