Whilst many passengers typically go for cruise cabins that feature either a balcony that allows them to soak up the sea air or take in views from the docks, almost all ships also feature interior cabins.

Naturally, these cabins do not feature any views of the cabin, but offer all the same features guests would expect from a standard room, including plenty of space.

Despite initially seeming a little confining, cruise passengers who choose an interior cabin are often able to save around £400 compared to a balcony, and are still able to use the wide range of public lounges and open decks to admire the scenery.

Later in the video, Tim also urged tourists who are open minded over where and when they travel to book their cruise as late as possible, which can also cut the cost of the holiday significantly.

He advised: “Book as late as possible. If you are flexible over when you can go, and you don’t have to book time off work a long time in advance, and you’re free to go whenever you want, you can try and get an inside cabin at the last minute.

“The cruise lines will be selling these spaces off, trying to get the cruise as full as possible before it goes.”
