Former captain Sarfaraz Ahmed has left Pakistan and will reside in the United Kingdom. According to reports, the wicketkeeper-batter was worried about his career and decided to leave the country.
However, he is keen to play in the Pakistan Super League and will represent Quetta Gladiators in the upcoming season.
The 36-year-old, who was a part of the three-match Test series against Australia, played the opening match in Perth. He was dropped from the Playing XI after scoring just 7 runs in the game.
Earlier, Mohammad Amir left Pakistan and is likely to get the citizenship of England as his wife is a citizen of the European country.
