In preparation for the upcoming Test series against England, Indian cricketer KL Rahul paid a visit to the sacred Sri Mookambika Temple in Udupi to seek the blessings of Goddess Mookambika Devi.
Rahul last played on the field in the recent 2-match Test series in South Africa. The selectors chose to provide opportunities to Sanju Samson and Jitesh Sharma for the wicket-keeping role instead in the Afghanistan series.
KL Rahul demonstrated his leadership skills by guiding the ODI side to a 2-1 series victory in South Africa. Subsequently, he played a pivotal role as the wicketkeeper in the two Test matches, showcasing adaptability and finesse at the number 6 position in the batting lineup. Rahul’s noteworthy performance included a spectacular century in the Centurion Test, reaffirming his batting prowess.
