A video of a young school girl imitating Jasprit Bumrah‘s bowling action has gone viral on social media. The girl hits the off stump in the clip.
Bumrah is one of the best bowlers in international cricket at the moment. The pacer has been dealing in wickets since playing his first game for the Men in Blue in 2016. Many fans compared him with Lasith Malinga because of his slinging bowling action. With variations and lethal Yorker, Bumrah has carved a niche for himself across formats. He has inspired the young generation, with some of the budding cricketers trying to imitate his bowling action.
Jasprit Bumrah took 15 wickets in India’s title winning campaign in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 in the United States of America and the West Indies. He was named the Player of the Tournament.
Since then, the 30-year-old has been rested. He missed the T20I series against Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka. Bumrah also missed the one-day internationals against Sri Lanka. Tthe Speedster will not feature in the Duleep Trophy 2024 and is expected to sit out of the two-match Test series against Bangladesh.
