Yashasvi Jaiswal smashes 13 runs off 1 ball in fifth T20I vs Zimbabwe

Yashasvi Jaiswal has been impressive in his short career so far. The southpaw has played several match-winning innings in Test cricket and T20Is. Jaiswal was named the Player of the Match for his knock in the fourth T20I against Zimbabwe.

Giving the Men in Blue a good start in the first over of the last game of the series, Jaiswal hit a six off Sikandar Raza. He bowled a full toss, and the batter cleared the boundary rope, scoring six runs. Raza overstepped on the first ball and Yashasvi struck six on the free hit as India scored 13 runs off just one delivery.

He became the first batter to score 12 runs off the first ball in a men’s match in the shortest format. However, Raza had the laugh as Zimbabwe captain got rid of the left-hander on the fourth ball of the first over.
