edanta Stocks Today, Vedanta Share Price Live Updates August 22, 2025: Vedanta Ltd. on Thursday approved the second interim dividend of ₹16 per share for the current fiscal year, amounting to an outgo of ₹6,256 crore. The company had earlier announced a dividend of ₹7 per share in June this year. The first dividend resulted in an outflow of ₹2,737 crore.
The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) on Wednesday deferred the hearing on Vedanta Ltd’s proposed demerger to September 17, as market regulator SEBI is yet to complete the scrutiny of the proposal, while the central government has raised certain objections.
