Katrina Kaif on dealing with challenges, breakups: ‘I have learned to…’

Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal’s wedding became one of the most talked about things on the internet. The two after secretly dating for a couple of years tied the knot in December 2021. While Katrina is now happily married to Vicky Kaushal, there was also a time when the Merry Christmas actress found it difficult to deal with her personal life, especially her relationships and her breakups. In an old interview with DNA, Katrina not only shared insights into navigating the challenges of breakups but also explained how the experience shaped her mindset.

“My take on love is never going to change. I feel my views on love have grown and evolved. I have learned to deal with relationships and people, learned to be less selfish, more giving, more supportive of a person’s dream or supportive of a person’s internal growth, and most importantly understanding the person better.” she said further adding she has been more mature.

“My belief, conviction, passion, integrity, and hope in love always remained the same,” she concluded. Notably, the interview came at a time when Katrina Kaif allegedly parted ways with actor Ranbir Kapoor after being in a relationship for some time.

“I can never be off love for good, nor can I become cynical about it. Nothing and nobody can put me off love. Love is the most beautiful thing in the world. I have no reason to be cynical about absolutely anything in life,” she continued.

Katrina Kaif was last seen in Sriram Raghavan’s Merry Christmas alongside Vijay Sethupathi. The film was released in January 2024 and is now all set for its OTT release. The film which marks the first-time pairing of Katrina and Vijay was praised by the audience, thanks to the intrigue and suspense.

Katrina also had an eventful time in 2023. She featured in Salman Khan’s blockbuster film, Tiger 3, reprising her role as Zoya.
