Tucked away in American automotive history is a rare, hand-built machine that not only matches the power of the latest Corvette ZR1, but does so with a raw, analog edge. Meet the Falcon F7, a striking and obscure mid-engined supercar that delivers performance figures to rival the best.

Produced between 2012 and 2017 by Falcon Motorsports in Michigan, the F7 looks like a proper exotic supercar with sexy proportions, aggressive lines, and a hand-built interior.

It’s also incredibly powerful. It was originally built with an LS7 7.0-liter V8 with 629 hp, but this particular F7 now has a twin-turbocharged version of this engine built by Lingenfelter, delivering a crazy 1,100 hp. That’s more than the ZR1’s 1,064 hp.
The supercar is currently available for sale through Cars & Bids in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, and has just 1,700 miles on its belt. Unlike pretty much all other 1,000+ hp cars on the market now, the F7 doesn’t have a fancy dual-clutch transmission but rather a six-speed gated manual transmission sending power to the rear wheels.
As the entire car weighs just 2,800 lbs (1,270 kg), we’re sure it’s hilariously good fun to drive. It’s probably a little scary, too.
Beyond the brutal engine and manual transmission, the car also features 20-inch Forgeline wheels, Penske coilovers, carbon ceramic Brembo brakes, and is built around an aluminum chassis. It also includes full carbon fiber bodywork and features a silver vinyl wrap over a black and red interior. Just like a Corvette and a Koenigsegg, it also includes a removable roof panel.

Step inside, and the interior may not match the polish of a European exotic, but it’s still a unique and deliberate design. Red and black leather trim stretches across the dashboard, seats, and steering wheel, with exposed carbon fiber accents on the dash and door panels adding to its performance-focused look.
Just seven examples of the Falcon F7 exist, so if you’ve been waiting for an excuse to own a spaceship with a V8 and a clutch pedal, this might be it. Worst case, you get outbid and still earn bragging rights for knowing what a Falcon F7 is.
