Hinduja Global Solutions (HGS) on Thursday named Venkatesh Korla, President and CEO of HGS Americas, as the new Global CEO. He will take charge after the retirement of current Group CEO Partha DeSarkar in September 2025, the company said in a statement Additionally, Mahesh Kumar Nutalapati, Deputy CFO since February, has been elevated to the position of Global CFO.

Eli Lilly and Company (India) on Thursday said it has inked a pact with Apollo Group to raise awareness about obesity and type 2 diabetes. The company has entered into a partnership with Apollo Clinic, a clinic network under Apollo Health and Lifestyle, and Apollo HealthCo (Apollo 24|7), all part of the larger Apollo Group.

NLC India arm NIRL has entered into a pact with Mahatma Phule Renewable Energy and Infrastructure Technology Ltd to form a joint venture firm for the development of green energy projects, the government said on Thursday. “ NLC India Renewables Limited (NIRL), a wholly owned subsidiary of NLC India Ltd, signed a Joint Venture Agreement (JVA) today with Mahatma Phule Renewable Energy and Infrastructure Technology Limited (MAHAPREIT) at Mumbai,” the coal ministry said in a statement.

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) on Thursday initiated a probe into accounting discrepancies in forex derivatives at IndusInd Bank (IBL), said CA Charanjot Singh Nanda, President of ICAI. The FRRB is also reviewing the financial statements and statutory auditor’s reports for Gensol Engineering Ltd and BluSmart Mobility for the financial year 2023-24. Nanda expects both reviews to be completed within the next six months.

Sunteck Realty has infomred the exchanges that its wholly-owned subsidiary has been appointed to develop a residential project on a 2.5-acre land parcel located in Andheri (East), near the Western Express Highway in Mumbai. The company said it expects to generate a free sale component of approximately 2,75,000 square feet from the development and redevelopment of the project. However, Sunteck did not disclose the financial details or timelines associated with the project.
