Aside from a famous previous owner and serious power, this COPO Camaro includes a laptop full of tunes and data logs to optimize performance

- This 2016 Chevy COPO Camaro features a 1,300 hp engine and you can buy it.
- You can’t use it on the street, but it does come with a significant racing history.
- It also includes a laptop with all the data logs and tunes ever used in the car.
With a mind-blowing 1,300 horsepower (969 kW), this factory-built Camaro makes even the mighty Dodge Demon 170 on E85 look a little tame. On top of that, it’s a rare COPO edition, which means it’s one of less than 70 in existence. But wait, there’s more: this beast comes with a rich racing history, a recently refreshed engine, and a trusty little laptop that’s sure to come in handy.

Heading to Mecum’s Glendale 2025 auction this weekend, this Camaro was once the race car of none other than Erica Enders. Yes, the same Erica Enders who’s clinched the NHRA championship six times. As a result, the car comes with her signature on the dash, along with photos of her behind the wheel and proof of ownership to seal the deal.
In her time with the Chevy, she made several sub-8.5-second passes down the drag strip. That’s serious speed and it’s why the COPO Camaro comes with so much safety equipment, including a full roll cage, a proper racing harness, and a fuel cutoff switch.
As one of just 69 made in 2016, it’s only fitting that it’s been cared for as the rare vehicle that it is. The 5.7-liter supercharged LSX V8 was subject to a recent refresh according to the listing. It leverages a Whipple blower, MSD ignition coils, Elite Motorsports valve covers, and a Stef’s cooler to keep temps in check.

Now, the cherry on top: the laptop. It’s not just a random piece of tech; it’s been with the car for years and holds a treasure trove of race logs, tuning setups, and performance data—everything a professional racing team uses to fine-tune air, fuel, and timing combinations. It’s a fascinating window into how professional racing teams manage power, grip, and gear shifts.
So, while Erica Enders was the last person to race this Camaro, the question is—could you be the next? The car will hit the auction block on March 22nd. You can find the full listing here. Happy bidding!
